The Fertilife offers IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) treatment in Gurgaon under the direct care of Dr. Anshika Lekhi (MBBS, DGO). She has spent more than 13 years now as an infertility specialist, with over 1,500 IVF cycles behind her. And one thing she is firm about — the plan is never some standard protocol handed out to everyone alike. It gets built around your own case: your diagnosis, your age, your ovarian reserve, whatever your fertility history has been.

"PCOS treatment isn't one-size-fits-all, and it isn't always escalating, either. Some women need nothing more than a structured weight and lifestyle plan to start ovulating again. Others need medication from the start. The mistake I see most is starting everyone on the same protocol instead of working out which category a patient actually falls into first."

What Does IVF Treatment Involve?

IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation) is the treatment where we take the eggs out of the ovaries, fertilise them with sperm in the lab, and then place the resulting embryo back into the uterus. When do we turn to it? Usually for blocked or damaged fallopian tubes, a low ovarian reserve, male-factor infertility, unexplained infertility, or when something gentler like IUI just hasn't worked. A full cycle, from the stimulation right through to the transfer, runs somewhere around 4–6 weeks. Though that shifts a little with the protocol and with how your own body decides to respond.

The IVF Process, Step by Step

  1. Initial evaluation — before anything starts, we run the hormonal bloods, AMH, FSH and LH, along with an ultrasound and a semen analysis. That is what confirms the diagnosis and settles which protocol actually suits you
  2. Ovarian stimulation — then come the hormone injections, over roughly 10–12 days, to grow several eggs together. Ultrasound and bloodwork keep an eye on the follicles as they come along
  3. Trigger shot and egg retrieval — a trigger injection ripens the eggs, and the retrieval follows under sedation. It's a short outpatient thing and you are home the same day
  4. Fertilisation — now the eggs meet the sperm in the lab. Either conventional IVF, or ICSI, where one single sperm is injected straight into the egg. Which one we use comes down to the sperm quality
  5. Embryo culture — the fertilised embryos are grown in the lab for 3–5 days, and we keep checking them for quality as they go
  6. Embryo transfer — the chosen embryo goes into the uterus through a thin catheter. Nothing as involved as anaesthesia for this one
  7. The two-week wait — then a blood test, roughly two weeks on, that finally tells us whether the cycle has worked

IVF Treatment Cost in Gurgaon

There's no fixed price for IVF. The figure simply isn't a set thing — it changes from one clinic to the next. It depends on your protocol, on the medication dose, on whether you need ICSI or an add-on like PGT or blastocyst culture, and on how many cycles it ends up taking. As a rough guide, IVF in Gurgaon runs ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,00,000+ per cycle. Donor gametes, embryo freezing, the advanced add-ons, those push it higher still.

Component

Typical Range (Gurgaon market, per cycle)

Pre-treatment diagnostics (hormonal panel, ultrasound, semen analysis)

₹8,000 – ₹12,000

Base IVF cycle (own egg, own sperm)

₹1,00,000 – ₹1,50,000

IVF with ICSI

₹1,50,000 – ₹2,80,000

Frozen embryo transfer (FET)

₹35,000 – ₹55,000

Donor egg/sperm cycles

₹2,50,000 – ₹3,00,000+

These are broad Gurgaon-market ranges, pulled from public sources just to help you plan. They are not a quote from The Fertilife. What you actually end up paying comes down to your own evaluation. So do book a consultation for a figure built around your case.

Why Patients Choose The Fertilife for IVF in Gurgaon?

  • Your IVF is Dr. Anshika Lekhi's own work (MBBS, DGO), 13+ years and more than 1,500 cycles, the hard ones among them, low AMH, own-egg IVF, repeated IVF failure
  • She trained and worked across places like Max Hospital, W Pratiksha, Milann Fertility and Wings IVF, so she has seen far more variety of case than any single clinic tends to throw up
  • Nothing here comes off a shelf. The stimulation, the drug dose, the lab steps, whether it's ICSI or blastocyst culture or FET, all of it gets matched to your diagnosis and no one else's
  • And you hear the costs upfront, in plain terms, so there's no nasty surprise waiting halfway through a cycle

Who Should Consider IVF?

IVF may be the right move if you are dealing with:

  • Blocked, damaged or absent fallopian tubes
  • A low ovarian reserve, or low AMH
  • Male-factor infertility (a low count, poor motility or morphology)
  • Endometriosis that is affecting fertility
  • Unexplained infertility after the standard testing
  • IUI cycles that haven't worked
  • A need for donor eggs, donor sperm, or a gestational surrogate
  • Fertility preservation before a medical treatment like chemotherapy

A consultation with Dr. Lekhi is what settles whether IVF is really your next step, or whether something lighter, IUI or ovulation induction, is worth a try first. We recommend on what the diagnosis calls for. Not a reflex push towards the most advanced, priciest option going.

Frequently Asked Questions

Usually 4–6 weeks, from the start of stimulation to the pregnancy test. It shifts with the protocol and with how the ovaries respond.

Most people call it mild discomfort rather than real pain. The egg retrieval is under sedation, and the transfer needs no anaesthesia at all. A bit of bloating or cramping after the stimulation is common enough.

There is no fixed number. Women need to take injections from day 2 of periods to day 11 of the periods, on average 10-11days of injections are needed. This entirely depends on your diagnosis.

A lot of patients conceive within one to three cycles, but honestly it varies a great deal with age, ovarian reserve and the underlying diagnosis. Dr. Lekhi will give you a realistic figure for your own case, not some general average.

Not always, no. The medication, the hormone injections, can be a real chunk of the total, and it varies by dose and brand. Ask for a full breakdown, medications included, before you start.

In IVF the sperm and egg fertilise on their own in a dish. In ICSI a single sperm is injected straight into the egg, and that one is generally for male-factor infertility or a previous fertilisation failure.

Mostly not, since it's treated as elective. Some clinics run EMI or payment plans though, so ask about that at your consultation.
